Day 17 in Japan: Lizzards & Purple Baths

So just a brief summary for today. You already know I’m tired every morning (because I had slept in the afternoon I wasn’t able to sleep at night ^^°) and today was no exception. Together with Anna we rode our bikes to school (for the second time I crushed into the wall, I wonder what’s wrong with me *lol*) and met this prehistorical appearing miniature lizzard.

Due to need for some coffeine we went to the schools automat and I simply wanted to buy a bottle of Coke…of course I didn’t have a 100 Yen coin (not even a 1000 Yen note, you can buy with them, too) so I asked Anna for one…nor did she have a coin, BUT a 1000 Yen note…we bought the coke and…the automat returned 900 Yen in 10 Yen coins!!! O.o The slot for the change was soon full and the coins piled up. now there were so many we werent able to push the little slide door to the change open…it worked finally with a little love and lots of violence. My wallet looked like it was pregnant with all the 10 Yen coins inside.

The day went by like no one ever did before in Germany at school or university, though today my selectives started and lessons ended at three thirty. Those of you following this blog for some weeks now know Tuesday is tokubaibi at Jusco so we went there for groceries shopping…and yes of course we got lost in all the kawaii shops and bought some cute stuff, too. But more about that tomorrow. I have bought meat…real meat. I have to stop eating carbohydrates from morning to evening, so meat, fish, eggs and even more meat ^_~

Every time we come to the Aeon Mall in the evening we laugh because at the bicycle parking lot the bike gang has parked its motor-bikes..and then we come and squeeze our rusty, old bikes in between.

We stopped at the women’s restroom and I realized there’s this sign where you can see how big actually only that one restroom is!
