Minty ist eines meiner Lieblingsponies. Erstens: Sie ist ein My little Pony. Zweitens: Sie ist oft in meiner Lieblings-Pony-Pose (“donkey pose”, die herrlich bescheuert ist). Drittens: Minty ist eine der Hauptcharaktere im wöchentlichen Web-Comic Kimono’s Townhouse und dort ein total Nerd…ein bisschen wie ich *lach*

Ich versuche gerade verzweifelt einen Übergang zum eigentlichen Thema zu finden…also…Weihnachten begann bei mir letzes Jahr schon lange vor Weihnachten. Unter anderem, weil ich von Mr. Perfect ein Netbook bekommen habe. Einfach so, weil ich es unterwegs im Zug gut zum Schreiben brauchen kann (naja, und es über war). Und es ist total genial. Dank Solid State Festplatte und einer schlanken Linux Installation (Linux Mint, um genau zu sein…ach da haben wir ja endlich den Übergang…Linux Mint…y…) ist es in 30 Sekunden hochgefahren und einsatzbereit.

Und welchen anderen Namen hätte das Netbook bekommen sollen als Minty. Wir haben schon den einen oder anderen The Voice Abend miteinander auf dem Sofa verbracht und gebloggt

P.S.: Mr. Perfect gerade diesen Eintrag vor Veröffentlichung gezeigt…was dazu geführt hat, dass wir gerade beide mit einer Stoppuhr vor Minty kauerten und getestet haben, wie lange das Hochfahren tatsächlich dauert…auf die Zehntelsekunde 30 Sekunden ;D

entertainment earth added a new wave of My little Ponies available for pre-order. Besides three of the “core 6″ we get four new ponies:

• Blossomforth
• Cupcake
• Dewdrop Dazzle
• LuLu Luck

I wish the single ponies would appear at more places here in Germany >< I had to go to Globus and Rofu’s Kinderland to buy Rarity (okay, she was a present )

In December an new Toys R Us store opened in Munich on the Theresienhöhe only one station by suburban train (Hackerbrücke) or underground (Theresienwiese) from central station. 4.100 qm² stuffed with toys and everything baby make it Europe’s biggest chain store at the moment.

Of course now I’m able to get my hands on Toys R Us exclusives like this Littles Pet Shop giraffe…not that I bought it…or anyone else. They had tons of those

Finally: The My little Pony corner. On the first glance a lot of stuff. But if you take a closer look it’s not a wide variety but the same stuff again and again…and almost only G3.5 stuff, hardly any G4s. But they will come, I’m sure

All in all I’m happy to have a Toys R Us store in reach and it’s huge for German standards, but after having seen Japanese stores over five to six floor’s nothing can satisfy me, I guess :P
